EXPERIENCE
Julie represents clients in a variety of entertainment, employment, and commercial litigation matters.
Julie has handled numerous cases in federal and state courts involving copyright and trademark infringement, copyright terminations, music publishing and recording agreements, management/artist relationships, band disputes, licensing agreements, royalty matters, partnerships, and general contract issues.
Julie also litigates and counsels clients with respect to labor and employment issues, including claims involving sexual harassment, sex, age, race and disability discrimination, wrongful discharge, and restrictive covenants, in Federal and State Courts and before city and/or state agencies. Julie also regularly advises clients on best employment practices and employee policies.
Julie also provides general representation and counsel to clients with respect to operational and licensing issues in the real estate and hospitality sectors, including in connection with violations and summonses issued by FDNY, the New York City Department of Buildings, the New York City and the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and represents clients at hearings in the New York City Criminal Court and New York City’s Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH).
