Appellate Litigation
Reitler’s Appellate Litigation practice is principally focused on appeals to the Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals and to appeals at all levels of the New York State appellate courts. Because of the nationwide scope of certain practice areas within the firm, our attorneys have undertaken appeals to federal courts around the country as well as the United States Supreme Court.
Reitler’s appellate attorneys bring decades of experience and learning to every situation. It is not uncommon for our team to be asked to take over appeals in cases where the lower courts have rendered an unfavorable verdict or decision. Conversely, we will frequently represent clients in the defense of appeals where the client has previously been successful in lower courts
