EXPERIENCE
Vince Paparo is a versatile lawyer with broad experience in a wide range of domestic and cross-border financings and restructurings. His practice focuses on debt financings with an emphasis on senior secured, second lien, unitranche, mezzanine and subordinated loans. Both lenders and corporate borrowers have turned to him on a wide array of lending transactions including syndicated transactions, acquisition finance, recapitalizations, and specialty financings.
His clients include financial institutions, investment banks, investment funds, private equity funds, distressed debt investors and alternative credit providers. Vince also has extensive experience with sovereign debt restructurings, particularly in Latin America. When transactions and companies become distressed, Vince takes a leading role on behalf of creditor clients in debt restructurings and sophisticated workouts. He has advised clients on major bankruptcy and creditors’ rights transactions including senior secured lenders, DIP and exit facility lenders, strategic lenders, and distressed debt funds.
Vince also represents potential acquirers and sellers of assets in Chapter 11 (both under Section 363 and pursuant to plans of reorganization), as well as pursuant to UCC Article 9. His restructuring experience is extensive in multiple industries, including health care, energy, retail, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
