Kelsey Weiner is a member of the Firm's Venture Capital & Emerging Companies group. She advises startups and growth-stage companies—including those in the life sciences, consumer goods, technology and AI, and digital entertainment sectors, among others—on venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, securities compliance, corporate governance, and other ongoing legal needs. Kelsey works closely with founders and management teams at each stage of growth, from initial company formation through complex financing rounds and strategic transactions.
Prior to joining Reitler, Kelsey practiced at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, a leading Toronto-based corporate law firm, where she specialized in corporate and securities law. At Osler, she represented public companies in the U.S. capital markets as well as private companies seeking to access U.S. public markets, advising on the preparation and filing of periodic reports, current reports, and other filings required under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Kelsey is a member of the New York City Bar Association, where she serves on the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Committee.
