Bio
Scott H. Rosenblatt was
born in New York City. He is a member of the bar in New
York and Massachusetts and is admitted to practice in the
Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York. Prior
to joining the firm in 1999, Scott practiced as a
Corporate attorney with Covington & Burling (formerly, Howard, Darby & Levin).
Scott's
practice focuses on merger and acquisition transactions,
joint ventures and co-development transactions, corporate
finance, complex licensing transactions and business
reorganizations. He has advised investment funds in
connection with portfolio investments and realization
events, merchant banks and private equity investors in
buy-out transactions and numerous privately held and
publicly funded companies. Scott has extensive
experience with life science, emerging technology, biotech and
medical device companies.
Scott's
experience also extends to restructuring transactions.
He has represented secured and
unsecured creditors, company executives and boards of
directors, and purchasers of assets of distressed
companies.
Scott is a member of the
Association of the Bar of the City of New York and is a
frequent lecturer
on corporate law with the City Bar CLE Program. He
has formerly served as the Chairman of the ABCNY's annual corporate
"bridging the gap" CLE program.
The 2006 Edition of New York SuperLawyers lists Mr.
Rosenblatt as among the top New York attorneys in the field
of Mergers & Acquisitions.
