National Political Science Honor Society and the Bench and Bar

Bio
Gary M. Lyman was born in
Brooklyn, New York in 1951. He was admitted to the New
York State bar in 1977 and to the Eastern District and
Southern District of New York in 1979. After years of
firm experience, he established his own practice in 1985 and
joined the firm as a member in 2003.
Gary’s practice focuses on
all transactional and advisory aspects of real estate law
including sales, acquisitions, mortgage financing, leasing,
management, construction, development and landlord/tenant
matters. His clientele ranges from large and prominent
enterprises, to medium and small sized entities, as well as to
individuals.
Gary has also specialized in
the field of innkeeper and hospitality law for more than 25
years, counseling hotel clients on the day-to-day and
long-term operation of hotel properties. He has served
as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University’s
School of Continuing Education, teaching a course entitled
Legal Responsibilities of the Innkeeper. Gary has
authored numerous articles in the hospitality field and
continues to act as counsel to several major hotel properties.
